From this Friday (19 Aug) United Utilities are closing Flixton Road at the junction of Ambleside Road in Flixton for essential works.

This work will last for a day according to GM Roadworks although Trafford Council has mentioned that it might take a while longer.

No other part of Flixton Road is affected.

Because the road at this junction is closed bus services will also be affected and will divert down Church Lane and then a left down Chassen Road, with it being Friday people can expect some delays.

Also on Manchester Road in Carrington BT are doing some work already which means further delays on Friday for those living in Partington.
