Police responded to calls about a car and van collision on Paddock Lane near Saracens Head pub at around 9am this morning, ambulances and fire fighters were also on the scene.

As a result of this collision police closed off Warburton Lane and Dunham Road and at this time the roads are still closed.

Google Maps Traffic shows the road is still closed

Residents in Partington also reported seeing many emergency vehicles going towards the scene.

It is currently not known if anyone was badly injured in this crash.

TFGM (Transport for Greater Manchester) also pushed out a message on social media channels about the road closure due to a police incident.
