Some big names in 80’s music are scheduled to play at the Waterside Arts Centre in Sale soon.
On 8 October China Crisis are in concert, The popular 80’s band made big hits like Wishful Thinking and Christian, the band had three top 40 albums during the 80’s era.
The band originally from Merseyside first got together in 1979 and never looked back, they timed it right as 80’s music with huge names such as Human League, Depeche Mode, Wham!, Duran Duran and more helped bring pop music into a Premier League status.
Millions listened to the official UK top 40 on BBC Radio One every Sunday evening to see if the band or singer they liked got to number one, these were the days where football was stuck in second place!
China Crisis was in the mix and did very well at that time and like Duran Duran and others they continued to be a group who made some great songs along the way and still touring to this very day.
