Road Closure: Chapel Lane in Partington to get a full resurface

Trafford Council (One Trafford) are to resurface Chapel Lane in Partington.

The work is ‘scheduled’ to commence on 19 October 2022 until 31 October although we expect work to be completed earlier than the estimated time this will mean the road will be closed.

The resurfacing and other work will begin near the 5G mast and end at Moss Lane, it is hoped that the full resurface will not be the type that has been seen in the Sale and Broadheath areas where workmen have used crushed stone and a thin covering of tarmac.

Either way the state Chapel Lane is in right now even that dreadful surface will be a huge improvement and will also be good for the runners of the Trafford 10K who will no longer have to dodge the huge potholes.

Three-UK mast engineers are also scheduled to be working on the huge 5G mast near Partington Sports Centre on 25 October which would see the road at that point being closed for several hours until they fix the huge radioactive monopole.
