Young male charged after police find a knife using Stop and Search in Trafford

A young male has been charged following a Stop and Search by Officers from GMPs Transport Unit in Trafford.

The juvenile has been charged with Possession of a knife in a Public Place.

He has been charged and bailed to attend Manchester and Salford Youth Court on 17/10/2022.

It is not legal to be carrying most knives in the UK with the only exemptions of a knife that has a cutting edge of no more than 3 inches and are not lock (flick) knives.
