Mason Greenwood arrested for allegedly breaching his bail conditions

Manchester United have issued a statement about Mason Greenwood on the manutd.com website.

Mason Greenwood aged 21 has allegedly breached his bail conditions and police arrested him at his home in Bowdon and is now back in custody.

Police are now investigating the alleged breach of bail conditions and the club has suspended the player until further notice.

Manchester United statement on the website said “Manchester United notes that criminal charges have been brought against Mason Greenwood by the Crown Prosecution Service, He remains suspended by the club, pending the outcome of the judicial service”

Greenwood was arrested on suspicion of rape and an assault on his girlfriend back in January, it is also alleged he made threats to kill.
