Second attempted child abduction in the matter of weeks in Partington

According to reports from local people two children aged 10 were approached by a white van on Erskine Road nearer to Chapel Lane recently.

This has apparently been the second attempt according to reports in the matter of weeks and by someone in a white van, we are not sure if it’s the same van involved.

The two children escaped as the door opened up and ran home, Both are safe however local people are rightly concerned and have contacted police about this latest incident.

We have asked Greater Manchester Police for more information.
