The UK PM Liz Truss has resigned leaving the Conservative party searching for a new leader which we believe will be as soon as 28 October 2022.

Liz Truss served just over a month in power which goes down in history as the shortest ever in the UK for a Prime Minister, it also serves to embarrass the party even further since it was themselves who voted for her.

A General Election is the only sensible solution to this crisis and many people including public figures such as ex footballer Gary Neville has tweeted many times that we need a General Election, Labour leader Keir Starmer has also come out and believes the only way out of this mess is to have a General Election.

It is easy to see why Liz Truss messed up so spectacularly with her own team that really couldn’t run a bath, the mini budget was a disaster and the chancellor soon after was booted out, it got worse as Jeremy Hunt took control of the UK’s finances.

All this messing around like some bizarre ‘Pass the parcel’ and yet the UK is in a bad situation, energy crisis, cost of living, nurses and doctors leaving the NHS, strikes, and fears over pensions and more.

Trust in politicians is at an all time low and the only real genuine way to make things better is to give the people a vote.
