Motorists are being warned about a scheduled road closure on (22 Oct) at a very busy junction in Timperley.

The junction at Park Road and A56 will be closed according to GM Roadworks which is updated daily, the work being done is by Vodafone.

We are not sure yet exactly what work is being done since it is only for one day, normally if a mast is to go up they will need a cherry picker which means one lane or a full road is closed for a time.

If it was in a cabinet they would not close the road or a lane.

The time of the closure is not known however we have been down twice today and nothing yet has happened.

Also Greatstone Road circle will be closed near Longford Park in Stretford for a time as Three-UK installs a 5G mast this will last for the weekend, once the mast is installed the cherry picker can then depart and the road can reopen.

This 5G mast was refused by the council however Three UK appealed and won so the mast goes up and residents are not going to like it.
