Man arrested on suspicion of sexual communications with a child in Partington

Police were called at around 4.50pm on Sunday (30 October) to an address in Partington regarding an allegation of a man communicating inappropriately online with an underage child.

Officers attended and found a group had gathered near to the address which saw a man injured during the disturbance.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of engaging in sexual communication with a child. He will be taken to custody once he has been assessed in hospital.
