Elderly woman dies after a bad fall in Sale

Emergency Services were called out to an elderly woman who had fallen badly on The Avenue in Sale on 17 November 2022 at around 4pm.

Police confirmed that an elderly lady had fallen and was in a very bad way, she was taken to a nearby hospital but we have now found out she has sadly passed away.

The police had taped off a small section of the road which was to the right as you come from Meadway on to The Avenue.

It is currently unknown how she had fallen at this time however people have since paid respects to the woman by laying down flowers at the scene.

Police could not offer us anymore information on the woman or how she came to fall.
