Keeping yourself warm when outside during the winter months is not that expensive, buying a bubble jacket with good padding is a good idea and they are not that expensive, buying a pair of trail trainers or walking shoes is a must to keep the feet warm and dry.
The biggest loss of heat is from the head! wear a hat or even a cap will keep the heat in! you won’t be as cold.
Gloves will be essential during cold months, sometimes just buying a pair of magic gloves for as little as 99p can do a great job of keeping you warm although for a limited time, buying gloves that have insulation and some waterproofing will be needed on longer stays in the outdoors.
Snoods are another cheap way to keep your neck and face warm and are not expensive.
With the cost of living crisis and energy issues people are now facing it will be a struggle for many, keeping the house/flat warm is essential, we suggest if you can add a little more to the metre to cover you over this period of cold weather.
If all else fails and you cannot afford to keep the gas on then either keep on your bubble jacket, if you have electric keep the light on as much as you can this will give the room some additional heat although not much it is better than nothing in that situation.
