Police close down Washway Road in Sale following a three car collision

Emergency services responded following calls they received about a serious collision that happened on Washway Road in Sale which occurred at around 9pm on 13 December 2022.

From the scene our reporter saw lots of debris on the road including a wheel! three cars were all facing north bound towards Eastway, an Audi had full air bags deployed that we could see, a white car at the back seemed to be the most damaged.

Police at the scene told our reporter that no one was badly hurt in this crash.

Washway Road was closed past 11pm as police waited for vehicle removal trucks and they had to do a sweep up of the road.

The road was reopened just after midnight
