In this day and age money is becoming ever scarce and people struggle because of this stupid government, however we all need a mobile phone and we know about a phone mostly flogged on social network TikTok.

The phone is the Infinix 6 HD which on the face of it looks great for the £65 fee however the host selling these handsets does not give the right information to questions thrown at him.

We have seen live streams of a TikTok shop seller who gives you the impression that this handset is great and you will have no problems with it and was even heard saying the battery will last 6 days!

Lets break it down in easy terms so you are not fobbed off, this handset looks good, however it has a 720p screen resolution which is very outdated now! ‘

The biggest issue is with the RAM (Random Access Memory) this is where your OS sits and all your apps, every update will eat into the RAM, the Infinix 6 HD has only 2GB RAM out of the box! once you have accepted the terms of your phone it will instantly start any updates to the operating system and apps, and security updates this will leave you with next to no RAM.

What happens with no or next to no RAM left is your phone will start lagging or freezing, the more you add apps, the more you use the device for taking photos, for live streaming and watching videos will kill the handset, the chipset will be working so hard to keep the phone operable but it will burn out.

The camera will not work and the phone will end up in the bin, you could free up some memory by deleting all apps and games, this will slightly help however you have to ask yourself how are you going to use the phone? bit if internet, no downloading TikTok or Twitter, no Whatsapp and Facebook and no Instagram and Snap Char ever? no live streaming, if you use it for texts and calls and little else it will work for you.

If you want a phone to work and work well no matter how many apps you add, no matter how many times you watch YouTube, doing live streams and playing energy intensive games then you will need a handset with 4GB minimum, it would be even better if you could get one at 6 or 8GB some handsets now offer a 12GB RAM!

Look at the screen refresh rate 90 or 120hz is going to further the smoothness of your device, battery at 5000Mah will give you a day and a half of moderate use.

Your handset will cost you a little more but worth it in the end as you would be just throwing £65 down the drain with an Infinix 6HD handset or anything you see as ‘Good Value’ with a crap processor and 2GB RAM.

Save the money and look for a Samsung or even look to to the Chinese firm Xiaomi who also offer the RealMe range of handsets half the price of the big firms but offer so much more for your money, we suggest to save up a little more and buy a good handset that will last for over 2 years.

iPhone is expensive even second hand! however they work very well with less than 2GB RAM simply because of the Bionic Chipset and how the handsets work, although some of the older iPhones such as iPhone 5, 5C, 6 and 6 plus even the iPhone 7 and 7 plus will have some lag from time to time.

We would not suggest to buy an iPhone under the XS/XSMax if you was looking for one,not just because of the RAM but because they are no longer supported by Apple and will not get any security updates.

Security updates are a vital part of a mobile phone, they keep the bad guys out and we suggest to all users to install security updates if your handset supports them.

Understand also your mobile phone network signal does nothing to the speed of the handset, it its 4G or even ‘5G’ (which we are fully opposed to) the speed of your internet and downloads will be faster and nothing else, we know some people often get confused with this.
