Lots have been said about the newest MP on the block! Andrew Western has his critics and his allies for whatever you think about him he has made it into the big time in the political world.
The tsunami effect of winning the by-election will send shockwaves into the Conservative Party nationally and locally, the red wave will begin to flood the blue parts of the map as people up and down the country have had about enough of the lunacy, corruption and lies.
The Tories locally who came second in the by-election must now be very concerned as the local elections will be taking place in May, although they have made some ground by being seen to be doing something more than any other party this might not be enough to save them.
Nationally the Tories are in a dive much the same as the Titanic, with the way they lied to people about the Covid statistics, wasted millions on useless PPE and other scandals that had it been anyone else would have been locked away for a long time!
The then chancellor now PM will have known Lockdowns was going to trash the economy, they were not needed! all of this and everything else including a new Prime Minister every 6 months or less has damaged the party badly and this will reflect on the Tories locally.
Lib Dems and Greens as expected battled it out, both of course need to take a leaf out of the Tories handbook and get doing things locally and not just before an election, More importantly be seen to be doing so!
Despite the low votes for all underneath Andrew Western they can be feeling a little bit proud of themselves and see this as an opportunity to do better in next years local elections, learning that you have to be committed to helping residents of your chosen wards, be seen to be doing something way before any election, residents will be far more likely to vote for you!
We wish Andrew Western all the best in his new job.
