The residents of Chestnut Drive in Sale put on a superb Christmas lights display this year that thousands of people have come to see now they have raised money for Cash for Kids Charity,

They collected unused and unwrapped toys from generous local people and some local residents gave in money towards making sure kids will have a present this year despite the cost of living crisis.

In all with money received they managed to get £500 for the charity which is very impressive.

Simon who is a resident on Chestnut Drive who with help from others made all this happen said: “Residents of Chestnut Drive have been amazing with their Christmas lights this year.Well done to everyone who has lit up the road.

“Generous donations from local people helped to provide over 100 gifts for Mission Christmas (Cash for Kids) it also helped to provide pet food and other things like cat litter for Cats of M33 Pets in Need Foodbank.

“Thank you to everyone for your outstanding generosity. Children will now wake up to a gift on Christmas Day which will bring smiles to everyone.”

We are told that because of how popular the lights have been this year the Christmas lights 2023 is going to get even better so look out for updates nearer the time only on News4Trafford.
