A Yeti Aitlines ATR-72 aircraft crashed on approach to a new airport in Nepal India yesterday which is suspected to be due to pilot error.

The aircraft which was allegedly being streamed live on Facebook shows no issues with the aircraft and everyone getting a bit excited about landing then everything changed as the aircraft suddenly turned and the aircraft crashed.

On board the aircraft was 68 passengers and 4 flight crew some of the passengers were international travellers from Australia, Russia, Korea, and France, no one from UK was on board the aircraft where at this time 69 people perished.

From video seen we can see the aircraft with the nose up coming into land, however it is possible the flight crew was not sure where the airport was located and got confused although that argument could be misleading if the airport had ILS which would have brought the aircraft into land without the captain doing much.

If the captain was confused and no ILS was fitted then he would have climbed to a safe height and would do a go around or landed at another airport nearby.

This aircraft was not going fast enough and so stalled, to get the speed again the captain would have nose dived to gain the speed needed then level out and gained height again, the nose was in the up position which is slowing the aircraft down the complete opposite of what was needed.

The aircraft’s aerodynamics are crucial even with thrust from the engines the wings need lift or it will stall this is what happened to the doomed turbo prop aircraft.

Emergency services could not get to the site of the crash as quickly as they could due to the terrain and the amount of people watching on. some residents in the area was seen on video walking on the air crash site.

The black box recorders will reveal the true events of what happened if they survived the inferno that engulfed the stricken airliner.
