Police taped off the Nags Head Pub in Urmston after a suspected firearms discharge late Sunday Evening.

It is reported that some of the front window opposite the beer garden was damaged, police have said they are keeping an open mind on what happened and are now asking members of the public for information.

Due to their suspicions more Police officers will be seen in the area, if you have any information no matter how small it is this will help them discover exactly what happened.

A GMP statement said: “At around 11.30pm last night (Sunday 15 January 2023) Greater Manchester Police received a report of a suspected firearms discharge at a premises on Lostock Road, Urmston.

“Officers attended the scene and found damage to a window of a property. Enquiries are ongoing to establish whether or not the damage was caused by a firearm, but a scene remains in place whilst officers continue their enquiries.”
