Police detain five males after an alleged knife point robbery in Sale

Police responded following calls about a knife point robbery at a Metrolink stop in Sale on 21 Jan 2023.

An off duty police officer was exiting the Dane Road station and heard what was going on, she attended and looked after the victim who was robbed by 5 young males aged between 13 and 17.

The male victim was assaulted then had his bike, mobile phone, cash, bag and scarf robbed from him, police was on the scene fast and with information obtained managed to track the group and all five were arrested at Sale Metrolink stop

Police took all five into custody for questioning.
