Police have recovered a body in the River Wyre in Lancashire close to where missing mother Nicola Bulley went missing.

In a statement police confirmed in a statement that they were called at 11.36am to reports of a body in the River Wyre close to Rawcliffe Road.

“An underwater search team and specialist officers have subsequently attended the scene entered the water and have sadly recovered a body.

No formal identification has yet been carried out so we are unable to say whether this is Nicola Bulley at this time.

Procedures to identify the body are on-going and we are currently treating the death as unexplained.

Nicolas family have been informed of developments and our thoughts are with them at this most difficult of times.”

Nicola went missing over two weeks ago from it seems a seating area where she was with her dog and where she had been on a teams call, leaving behind her laptop and mobile.

People on social media more so on TikTok came out in support to try finding the missing 45-year-old with the best intentions although often found themselves on private land and spooking residents.

Some on TikTok also cashed in on their live streams which was roundly slated by others on TikTok, that money made should go towards any charity that is set up to help the Bulley family.
