Two bins were torched over the weekend in Partington which a local park group condemned on social media site Facebook.
Both bins were torched in Cross Lane Park with which a spokesperson from the park group called “It’s sad to see this as we truly try to keep the park tidy” Cross Lane Park is a great place for all to enjoy be it playing football, basketball or just going for a run or walk so to see damage being done in the park is rightly condemned.
The park group do a great job making sure that its clean and tidy so people can see what a nice park it is, so to see what happened over the weekend was dissapointing.
Partington has its problems like anywhere, however those that feel the need to trash it like that is letting down the 99.9% of all that live in the area.
The park group does much more than clean the park, they also tidy up even before you get into Partington making it nicer for all those that come through, its a nice touch by all those in the Cross Lane Park Group who make Partington shine just that bit brighter.
