Police catch man in Sale Town Centre after failing to appear in court

Police today (1st March 2023) worked collaboratively with Trafford Priority Action Team (PAT) to catch a 35-year-old man from Sale who was wanted for failing to appear at court for 8 Burglaries on behalf of Police Scotland.

The PAT team attended an address whereby this male has decided to try and evade police by jumping out of a second floor flat window. Whilst at the address, his partner present has decided to lie in relation to his whereabouts.

The lies haven’t fooled the PAT team who have pursued this male on foot throughout Sale Town Centre and with the help of members of public were able to later apprehend and arrest this male for the offences.

He is now in custody along with his partner who was arrested for obstructing Police in the execution of their duty.

Members of the public were praised by Police officers for their help in catching the man in Sale Centre.
