M60 at Trafford Centre closed due to a Police-led incident

The M60 at Trafford Centre due to an incident which we believe happened this evening.

All lanes are currently closed anticlockwise from Jnc 10 to 9.

We are still at this stage not got any information as to what has happened although Google crash maps are suggesting that a crash has happened.

The traffic is backed up from Trafford Centre all the way past Eccles at the time of publishing, motorists are currently being diverted in the area.

Highways England tweeted an update saying “The M60 is closed anticlockwise between J10 and J9 near Manchester due to a police-led incident, there are four miles of congestion on the approach to the incident.”
