Motorists call on One Trafford to resurface a near unusable car park in Sale

Motorists who use a car park have called on the One Trafford to resurface a car park due to the amount of huge and very deep potholes in Sale.

The car park in Walton Park which had already been treated several years ago is now so bad motorists are saying if nothing is done with the surface it will be dangerous to use the car park.

With a huge amount of resurfacing currently underway in Trafford the big roads have been a needed priority however some side roads and of course this car park is in bad need of attention.

Simply crushing stone to fill the potholes alone like the workmen did a while back was not enough since no tarmac was added meaning the stone although crushed will be able to move around due to the amount of vehicles that use the car park which you can get to via Raglan Road or Walton Road.

If that was not enough we got reports that the back of the Walton Park Sports Centre is as bad, with photos sent to us we can see some very big potholes that needs some attention.

We are not aware at the time of publishing this article if the council has any plans for making these car parks in Walton Park safe again now or in the near future, what we can say is simply it needs to be made safe for all users this includes pedestrians since when rain falls and these huge dangerous potholes fill up its very hard to see!

Motorists are urged to take some caution if having to use both car parks until the situation changes.
