Police have received reports that 2 dogs have sadly died over the last few weeks after they got back home from a walk on Woodstock Park in Broadheath.
Both dogs were allowed to roam in the park and it is possible they have eaten something, the owner of the dogs was not aware of anything unusual with them until they became unwell afterwards.
Police are fully aware of what is being said on social media about this incident and are asking owners to be extra vigilant with their pets when in the park.
Trafford council are also aware of the incident and are conducting a site visit.
Police have said that “At this time we are not aware of any risk to the public regarding this incident and will put out an update when we have the results of the site visit.”
