Emergency Services turn up to a fire at Altrincham Lodge in Timperley

All emergency services are currently at the scene of a blaze at Altrincham Lodge behind the old Pelican Inn Pub on Manchester Road.

The fire we believe started at around 5.30 this evening (29 April)

As a result of the huge emergency services turn out, Manchester Road in Timperley is currently closed near to Langdale Road and the other way North bound at Park Road.

We have asked a fire fighter at the scene what was the cause of the fire and he told us that it looks like the fire was started deliberate although made it clear until the investigation was complete he is not 100% sure.

At this time we do not know if anyone was in the building although no ambulance staff was seen with anyone injured at the time our reporter left the scene.
