Police everywhere on one crazy day in Trafford

Reports came into us about a big police build up around Walton Road in Sale this afternoon 12 May 2023 at around 4pm where a teenage boy has alleged that his expensive mountain bike had been taken on the Bridgewater Canal Tow Path in Sale.

It is claimed by the victim that two males has threatened him with a blade and took the bike afterwards he called police who it is believed unable to locate the bike and the male with the blade at the time.

During the early evening we got reports that a big build up of police were seen by several people on Eastway in Sale which including fire arms unit.

Later on at around 10.30pm people reported seeing 6 police cars in full emergency mode racing North bound on A56 Washway Road in Sale and one more that had gone down Manor Avenue.

It has also been claimed that a firearms incident occurred in Flixton this evening,

We have asked GMP for more information on all these incidents.
