Music legend Tina Turner has sadly passed away aged 83
The singer who’s real name is Anna Mae Bullock also known as the “Queen of Rock and Roll” died at her Zurich home after a long fight with its believed cancer and other illnesses.
Turner will be best known for her hit songs from an award winning “Private Dancer” album “Simply the best” and “What’s love got to do with it” she gave the world some amazing music and will always be remembered for her lively stage performances and excellent vocals.
She won eight Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in 2021 as a solo artist.
Turner also starred in a film called “Mad Max beyond Thunderdome” in 1993 she also won many awards in her time winning 12 Grammt Awards, 3 Grammy Hall of Fame awards and a Grammy lifetime achievement award.
The US born singer had two children named Raymond and Ronald she also has two adopted sons named as Ike Jnr and Micheal.
Turner also believed in religion and was a Buddhist in her adult life, she also has property in several areas of the world including in London.
The Queen of Rock died today 24 May 2023.
