An animal hospital could be moving into Unit 6 Carrington Gateway soon if plans are approved by Trafford Council.

The property is currently empty and with some modifications will see CVS Ltd parent firm ‘Manchester Veterinary Services’ move in and help keep people’s pets healthy for Carrington and Partington residents and further out.

Manchester Veterinary Services are actually looking to expand and relocate from Worsley. the new bigger hospital will have Consultation rooms, Theartres, X-ray and CT facilities, Kenneling and administration it will also have a lab, dispensary, cat ward, dental room, 2 dog wards, high depandancy ward and more.

On the site new dog walking areas will be created and a bin disposal facility which will be situated next to the cycle storage, the service yard now will become a car park for visitors, a new entrance will be created which will come with planters.

The access will be from the A1 road which could be where the Carrington Relief Road will be, this could cause a few issues and should be looked at again to make sure no hold ups are created which could create more chaos on Manchester Road.

A lift will be proposed as part of the plans so people can access the second floor, as their is not to be much external works it will match the surrounding units and we expect the council to approve this appication.
