Boris Johnson to stand down as an MP due to Partygate report

Boris Johnson has announced that he is to stand down as an MP with immediate effect after receiving the Partygate report.

The report by the MP-led Privileges Committee looked into whether he misled Parliament over lockdown-breaking parties at Downing Street.

The former prime minister in a statement that he did not lie and all the other things people say when they are guilty, this could also mean the end of the Tories as a party and people are now calling for a General Election to take place.

Boris Johnson is a crafty politician and will do everything he can to evade detection including blaming others to try and deflect it all, he has chosen to hide this though will be unhelpful to his evading and ultimately he will have to face justice as should others in government including the scientific advisors and members of SAGE.
