The Met Office has issued weather warnings that means possible storms for Greater Manchester for Saturday and Sunday.

They have said that although many areas could remain dry there is a chance that some areas of Greater Manchester will see torrential downpours with some thunder and lightning mixed in which will lead to flooding.

The weather warnings are for both Saturday and Sunday, the temperatures are increasing including the humidity which causes thunderstorm activity.

If you are going anywhere this weekend even if it’s sunny outside bring with you a lightweight rain jacket just in case.
