Thunderstorms predicted for Greater Manchester

The Met office and other channels have issued a weather warning for thunderstorms this afternoon.

With thunderstorms comes a lot of rain and hail which means localised flooding and could cause some transport disruption.

The good news is after the ‘Predicted’ thunderstorms the cooler weather pushes in from the west so the rest of the evening and most of next week we will see fresher conditions.

If you happen to be going out for a bike ride or another activity it is a good idea to bring with you a very lightweight breathable waterproof jacket.
