Vegetation issues now a big problem in Trafford

The vegetation issues in Trafford are now worse than it has ever been and no news at the time of publishing is on the horizon when Trafford Council is to fix the problem.

Almost every back road and some of the bigger roads are full of overgrown weeds and bushes, some trees overhang so far the branches are on pavements.

Despite the almost out of control situation this is not unique to Trafford as in the past the issues have been bad, this time though its much worse.

We have asked a councillor for information as to when the council is to tackle the problem and await a reply.

Residents in nearby Dunham Massey along SInderland Lane towards Partington have gone oe further and to add a sign to overgrown vegetation saying “Polite Notice please cut the grass thank you”

On another occasion a resident on a back road in Sale was seen out trying to tackle the vegetation on a footpath near his home, he was also seen sweeping the drain cover clear!
