Another outage in Partington caused the loss of BT landlines and broadband connections in the area.
Residents from around the Oak Road area and further up towards Central Road told us they had no services from this morning.
One of these residents called Paul told us “I’ve just been speaking with some open reach engineers and they have said the outage in Partington is down to 3rd party engineers working in Carrington near the power plant accidentally cutting through the phone and Internet lines.”
BT services should be slowly coming back on and everyone should have a full service sometime tomorrow.
In recent times robbers cut the cables on Warburton Bridge and stole all the copper, initially it was feared the same thing has happened again, fortunately that was not the case.
