Police turned up at Trafford General Hospital this morning (4 July)and taped off most exits after an incident took place.

What we know at this time from close sources is that a prisoner or someone who was in custody went for treatment at the hospital had escaped and this was the reason for the big police presence at the Urmston hospital.

The prisoner or person in police custody was later captured and police reopened the hospital where it was taped off.
