School’s out for summer – and it’s time for some family fun at Trafford Centre!

Skate into a disco dream at the new StarWash Roller Disco, or splash, sunbathe and scream with delight at Summer Daze.

With 200 stores, restaurants and leisure attractions all under one roof, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Star Wash Roller Rink, The Orient, 19 July – 27 August

Introducing the StarWash Roller Disco, a dazzling disco-themed roller rink that’s set to make waves in the heart of Trafford Centre.

Skaters will be transported to a world of vibrant lights, pulsating beats and kaleidoscope of colours, accompanied by a DJ playing feel-good tunes and disco classics.

The StarWash Roller Disco will open in The Orient, in front of the Main Stage. The experience is open daily Monday – Saturday 11am – 8pm and Sunday 12pm – 6pm, with sessions lasting 25 minutes.

Ticket prices are £12 peak (weekends) and £10 off peak (weekdays), which includes skate hire and access to the StarWash Lounge.

Summer Daze, outside The Great Hall, 22 July – 3 September, 11am – 8pm

Get ready for sandcastles and sunbathing on a huge 600 square metre beach, before cooling off at not one, but two thrilling splash parks. There are over twenty fairground rides to enjoy as well as ice creams, dougnuts and burgers.

A covered stage area will play host to a packed schedule of summer fun, including free crafting, facepainting, costume characters and live entertainment.

Family ‘Thursdaze’: get crafty with summer-themed crafting activities every Thursday. These free crafting workshops will run at the stage area from 12 – 4pm every Thursday, from 27 July – 31 August. Free hair braiding and summer tattoos are also available.

· Summer ‘Saturdaze’: get in the party mood and singalong to the summer’s biggest hits and well-loved anthems! This family friendly show will take place every Saturday on the hour between 12 – 5pm.

Entry to Summer Daze costs £3 per person if booked in advance (includes booking fee) and £4 on the door. Ride tokens must be purchased separately. Tickets are available at traffordcentre.co.uk/summerdaze

Barbie Pop-Up, Selfridges Upper Level, open now

To celebrate the hottest movie release of the summer, Selfridges’ Barbie pop-up has landed in-store! Check out Barbie’s Dreamhouse, grab your own Barbie selfie moment and shop ‘til you drop with Barbie lines straight from the movie.

Kids’ Summer Party, Selfridges Upper Level, 29 July 9am – 12pm

Kickstart your summer celebrations at Selfridges. Expect sweet treats, character appearances from a few of our favourite toys and creative workshops to get you festival ready. Live music will keep you and the family entertained as you explore an abundance of services for a morning of summer fun!

NARS presents the Afterglow Masterclass at Oh You Pretty Things, 28 July

The Paradise Island Open Championship is back, 20 – 23 July

One of the biggest adventure and mini golf competitions in the UK will take place at Paradise Island Adventure Golf from 20 – 23 July.
