Irish music legend Sinead O’Conner has sadly passed away aged just 56.
O’Connor will be best remebered for her Prince cover ‘Nothing compares 2 u’ her death brought with it many tributes from Irish PM Leo Varadkar tweeted: “Her music was loved around the world and her talent was unmatched and beyond compare.”
Connor McGregor said “The world has lost an artist with the voice of an Angel. Ireland has lost an iconic voice and one of our absolute finest, by a long shot. And I have lost a friend. Sinead’s music will live on and continue to inspire! Rest In Peace, Sinead you are home with your son I am sure”
O’Connor sadly lost her son after he was found by police after going missing, reports suggest Sinead was lost without him.
In 2018 she converted to Islam and was given a new asian name although continued to be known as Sinead O’Connor.
It is not fully known how Sinead died however reports say that her Mental Health had declined in recent times.
