Armed male arrested after he smashed a shop window in Sale

Police responded to an incident on School Road in Sale after a male was seen smashing a shop window with a knife during the afternoon of 8 August 2023.

The male was seen also threatening members of the public with the knife, they also called police in fear that the male could injure someone or worse.

Police were on the scene quickly and arrived at the scene with the assistance of a member of the public the male was disarmed and detained.

No one was hurt in the incident
