Police have sealed off Dunham Road and Booth Road in Altrincham where an incident occurred during the early hours.

Update at 1.56pm: Police have now extended the road closure on Dunham Road and have now issued a statement.

A forensic tent has been seen on Booth Road just off Dunham Road and we are awaiting a police statement as to what has happened.

Dunham Road and Booth Road are expected to be closed for most of the day so if you are heading that way you will have to divert down Groby Road which is now becoming a car park.
