Family of a man who died in Partington have paid tribute to him

The family of a man who sadly died at his flat on May Walk in Partington in the early hours of 23 July 2023 has paid tribute to him.

Emergency services rushed to the scene but found 44-year-old Stephen Hughes unresponsive, initially some residents feared that it could be a gas leak, at the same time some residents asking police what had happened also got the information that he died from something toxic.

Cadent Gas though checked everything and reassured everyone that it was nothing to do with the gas supply and it was not the cause of his death.

The investigation on how he died continues although police have said that there is no suspicious circumstances.

His sister, Sharron, said: “Stephen was a devoted father, loving brother and son, and he will be missed by everyone that knew him.”
