Today spectators came out to look at the big names in the pro cycling world as the Tour of Britain came back to Altrincham.

Altrincham was packed out and the crowds looking on gave all the cyclists a cheer as they departed first and headed for Altrincham Interchange, the biggest cheer was for Altrincham’s cycling club ‘Seamons’ who have been in existence for decades.

The big names such as Team Ineos, Movistar and a young Team GB team was present along with others including semi-pro teams.

So that was that on a great and very warm Sunday the Tour of Britain has long left Altrincham leaving behind some very happy residents hoping that the tour will be back once more.
