Weather is on the change as storms are predicted for weekend

The Met Office have issued a warning for Greater Manchester about the possibility of thunderstorms in the area on Saturday with further rain at time on Sunday.

Thunderstorms will be hit and miss however if you get one in your area it will be severe and will lead to localised flooding so expect some disruption, otherwise in other areas it will be dry with hazy sunshine.

The weather next week looks to be unsettled with showers predicted including some windy weather to come for next weekend.

The weather has not been kind to us in 2023 and now we head for Autumn proper the nights are starting to get longer expect more rain and wind so bring out them waterproofs because you will need them.
