Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford has escaped injury after crashing his car in Carrington.

We are aware police attended the scene and closed off a section of Manchester Road in Carrington late last night, it is thought he was heading towards Manchester United’s training ground.

The Rolls Royce car he was driving looked badly damaged in the crash with some street furniture also being knocked down.

Reports also claim Bruno Fernandez was also at the scene of the collision.
