Met Office have issued Weather warnings for Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 September 2023 both warnings are for wind.

The storm has now been named ‘Storm Agnus’

The predicted wind speeds will be over 60mph in some areas and with prolonged heavy rain will cause some disruption.

At this time the winds look to be coming from a SE direction although this could change as we get to Wednesday.

Looking at WXcharts more windy weather is on its way for much of the UK and a brief cold snap for Northern England in October.

The extreme weather events seen throughout the world and our own weather is natural due to El Nino and a Solar Maximum.
