Sir Micheal Gambon who will be best known for his appearances as headmaster Dumbledore in Harry Potter films has sadly died aged 82.
The irish actor starred in many films throughout his career including Othello in 1965, Gosford Park in 1991 and Fantastic Fox in 2009 along with many other big named films, he also starred in many plays.
He also starred on my programmes and shows on the small screen for which he got four BAFTA awards and nominated for several Emmy Awards in his amazing acting career.
Gambon also made many appearances for the small screen starring in a Doctor Who Christmas special called ‘A Christmas Carol’ in 2010, he also did voice overs for many Guiness adverts.
Sir Micheal Gambon CBE sadly died peacefully in hospital with his family around him, he died from Pneumonia.
