Two’s company Three is a crowd as Partington Councillor resigns

Partington councillor Adele New has resigned with immediate effect sighting that after thinking long and hard over summer that her priorities have changed which we believe is because of a health problem.

Councillors have a hard job! and so Adele will have with bags of case work, endless meetings that may or may not have been of any interest and at times when you should be with your family more so if you have young children and of course councillors have other jobs to do.

This resignation also puts the other two councillors Aidan Williams and James Wright with more work to do although we expect them to do everything they can though to help residents, they may not be available as fast as they would have normally been to respond.

Nothing as yet has been mentioned but it might be that a by-election could be called which would help both remaining councillors although of course if any of the other political party’s took Bucklow more seriously and put in the effort it might be Partington’s politics changes for the better once and for all, if you don’t believe it can happen look at what happened in Altrincham!

Despite all the issues and all that has gone on in the past we wish Adele all the best with her health problems and the possibility of standing again one day.
