Police confirm one person is fighting for her life in hospital and 12 people are badly injured and others have slight injuries after a bus crashed into a shop in Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester today 16 October at around 1pm.
The driver of the bus a 64-year-old man has been arrested at the scene and arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are continuing to investigate and are appealing for witnesses.
Roads around Piccadilly will be closed for sometime whilst investigators carry out there work to establish exactly what happened.
