The high tech cameras on yellow poles are watching your every move where they are located for safety and for enforcement.

These cameras could also be for a ULEZ type scheme where you will have to pay for using a none compliant car in a zone, at the time of publishing nothing has been confirmed but as stated in a previous article nothing is off the table.

We believe all motorists will agree safety is of paramount importance to all road users and pedestrians so having a live camera watching will slow people down which will save lives or life changing injuries.

ULEZ is a complete con on the unsuspecting public with no thought about people’s circumstances at this time, at any time! the big excuses come out such as “We need to reduce pollution” the other is about Net Zero which is debatable and just a way of cadging more money out of people.

Pollution though is a problem in Manchester more so here in Trafford with over 100 people a year dying attributable to toxic air, although car exhaust fumes cause lots of pollution much of the pollution is actually from industry and some of the toxic air that comes over from Europe.

We are expected to see many more cars and vans on our roads due to the amount of mega sized housing developments being built, a plan will be needed soon for cars to even move! more so in the Partington and Carrington areas but to be asking for money in such a way is draconian and unfair.

More cameras will be installed in the coming months in Trafford, the majority of cameras at this time are in Manchester City Centre, we are aware of some cameras in Chorlton and Wythenshawe.
