Trafford MV Rugby Club will look to improve their position at the top of Counties 2 ADM Lancashire/Cheshire League ahead of challengers Littleborough who trail by 4 points.

The challenge for Trafford MV this Saturday comes in the form of Liverpool Collegiate who currently sit in an unflattering 8th position, of which they are better. Kick off is at 2.15pm on Sat Nov 4th.

Trafford will be confident as they have not lost this season and have an unbeaten run that now extends to 18 games.

Collegiate however have suffered 4 defeats from the 7 games played so far. Pitches are expected to be very wet and heavy this weekend following the prolonged spells of rain endured recently and players must ensure they stick to game plans which are likely to revolve around forward dominance and taking easy points when available.

Things are looking good at Trafford as they once again get 3 teams out this weekend. The 2nd XV are also playing at home hosting Wigan while the 3rd XV make a short hop over to Wythenshawe.

Our TMV Ladies XV are also in action again this weekend following their impressive 75-0 win over Eccles last weekend. This Sunday they are off to Oldham in the next round of the league. ko 2.00pm

Trafford MV’s sold out Bonfire and Firework spectacular is on Friday evening and a fantastic night is anticipated for all those that have supported the Club in purchasing the advance tickets. There is no admission on the gate without an advance ticket.

Trafford MV are keen to attract local players of all ages for their mini, junior, teen and senior playing squads for both male and female sectors. If you or your children are interested in playing the game drop us a message at wilfdooley@virginmedia.com and we will further your interest.
