The residents of Chestnut Drive in Sale have revealed the date when the spectacular Christmas lights will be switched on.

With the lights switch on also comes with a special appeal that the residents also has operational every year for children and animals.

Mission Christmas is here to bring a smile to a child this Christmas, if you could donate an unwrapped toy by dropping it off to number 81 Chestnut Drive this would be greatly appreciated, also if you could donate any cat or dog food this would also help local people who are struggling to make ends meet who have a beloved pet.

All pet food donated will be delivered to DOGS4rescue in Irlam.

The Christmas lights will be switched on 2 December at 6pm, last day of donating presents is 16 December so they can sort out the presents and drop them off by 18 December.
